Irish Eats: Cooke’s of Dublin at Disney Springs
Looking for a restaurant that has fabulous food, affordable prices, and is quick? Cooke’s of Dublin is my favorite eatery at Disney Springs for these reasons. The restaurant’s Irish dishes are cooked to perfection. You can have a tasty meal, for less than $15, prepared fresh to order in only minutes. Cooke’s of Dublin is in The Landing area of Disney Springs, beside Raglan Road Irish Pub, the full-service Irish option. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating.
Cooke’s of Dublin: Epic Fish & Chips
Since Cooke’s of Dublin is an Irish restaurant, Fish & Chips is a menu staple. They are tasty and filling, without being greasy or overly breaded. I could clearly make out the delicious filet of fish nestled inside. Fish & Chips pairs nicely with Cooke’s homemade tartar sauce. I always order a side of Cooke’s zesty Curry Sauce to dip my fries in. Coleslaw slaw is another great fish accompaniment for the meal.
The Hog-in-a-Box contains slow-roasted pork shoulder with potatoes, sweet onion stuffing, and succulent caramelized onions. The meal is served in a waxy carton. Shocker, the box actually opens (which they do not tell you) so that you can mix the layered items appropriately and enjoy tasting them all together. It is excellent!
Next time you are at Disney Springs and looking for a quick bite, stop by Cooke’s of Dublin for a hearty comfort food meal. Best of all, Cooke’s has a soda fountain so beverage refills are free (a rarity on Disney property).
