My family and I are Disney crazy. It happened when we moved to Florida and became season Passholders. No matter how often we go, we never run out of things to do. Here are 24 things to do in the 7 Lands at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Theme Park.
For those of you who are familiar with Disney’s Magic Kingdom, there are only 6 true lands at the park; but for the sake of this post, I have added a 7th land, Specialty Land. This 7th area encompasses some special things at the park that I think are worth checking out! Humor me, if you will.
Main Street USA
#1 Dine with Winnie the Pooh and his friends at The Crystal Palace Buffet.
#2 Add a special piece to your collectible Pandora or Alex & Annie bracelet at Uptown Jeweler.
#3 Sink your teeth into an All-American meal (hot dog, fries, and Coca-Cola) from Casey’s Corner. Don’t want the fries, order the sandwich only and they will deduct the fries from your charge.
#5 Ride on the Pirates of the Caribbean adventure.
#6 Hop aboard Disney’s Jungle Cruise, one of the first rides at Walt Disney World.
#7 Indulge in Disney’s #1 treat, the soft-serve, delightful Dole Pineapple Whip, at Aloha Isle.
#8 Take a ride on the Astro Orbiter for the best views of the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. Have your camera ready!
#9 Sit down in the air-conditioned Carousel of Progress and ride through the 20th century to discover how life has changed in response to technology.
#11 Cool yourself off with a zip down Splash Mountain’s log flume ride.
#12 Munch on some Mexican goodies at Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale, anchored by a great condiments bar to pile your favorite taco and nacho toppings high.
#14 Show your American spirit at the Hall of Presidents 22-minute stage show.
#15 Ride through Disney’s Haunted Mansion and witness “Grim, Grinning Ghosts” coming out to socialize.
#16 Have a delicious Thanksgiving style meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Costumed waiters will serve you a traditional turkey dinner (with cranberries!) year round.
#17 Cruise through the countries of the world in it’s a small world. Caution, you will be singing the song all day and planning more travels!
#18 Try a clever concoction of pulled pork, topped with macaroni & cheese and a dollop of cole slaw from the Friar’s Nook.
#20 Buy a Mickey ear balloon, inside of a classic balloon. The vendors carrying large bouquets of them are especially photogenic.
#21 Pick up your deck of cards at the Main Street Firehouse and delight in the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card game as you defeat villains throughout the park.
#22 Buy souvenirs for your friends. Shaped and Chocolate dipped Rice Krispie treats are one of Magic Kingdom Theme Park’s top sellers.
#23 Drop by Guest Services and pick up your special occasion buttons. Celebrate any life accomplishment, no matter how big or small.
#24 Sign in to Disney’s High-Speed Wi-Fi as soon as you grace Magic Kingdom’s entrance.
