The Cheesecake Factory
Why We Went: My family absolutely loves The Cheesecake Factory. No matter which city we go to, if they have a Cheesecake Factory we will probably end up there. On a recent trip to Fort Lauderdale, my fiancé Blake, my sister Peyton, and I ate lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and as always, it was great.
What We Had: I chose the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, with seasoned french fries, but instead of marinara I opted for creamy alfredo sauce. Oh my goodness it was good! Blake ordered Chicken Piccata and Peyton had Chipotle Chicken Pasta, both of which they loved. Portions are huge at The Cheesecake Factory, so order accordingly. In addition, you are given bread to eat while you wait on your food.
Something Special: The desserts at The Cheesecake Factory are plentiful. If you do not like cheesecake, they also have specialty cakes available, all of which are delicious. My Dad’s favorite is Linda’s Fudge Cake with 6 or 7 layers of gooey goodness.
Noteworthy: The bar menu is killer. Their specialty drinks are not only scrumptious, but beautiful as well.
Best Part of the Meal: Hands down our desserts. I had my usual 30th Anniversary Cheesecake (traditional cheesecake with fudge cake and chocolate truffle cream) and ate every bite. Blake ordered Carrot Cake, and I forgot to take a picture until he had eaten half of it. But I am assuming that he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Bonus: The Cheesecake Factory offers brunch on Sundays and the menu is awesome!
What Needs Improvement: Sometimes the service can be slow, but I think it is because the restaurant has so many tables.
My Rating Scale 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest)= 9
