While traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina with my daughter, Peyton, The Le Méridien was our home away from home. I have always been a big fan of this luxury hotel chain because of their noteworthy customer service and impressive atmosphere and furnishings. The Charlotte location Le Méridien was located in a great part of town, easy for walking and exploring much of the Uptown area. It is also a high-end hotel that pampers its guests so we are always up for that option.

Arriving at the Hotel
A Heavenly Bathroom
The bathroom had an enormous tiled shower with the best shower head that I have ever used; you immediately feel invigorated from the pressure. This was one incredible shower! The bathroom’s marble features were gorgeous. Malin + Goetz toiletries were provided by the hotel and they smelled fabulous. I am a fan of luxury products, so I appreciated that the Le Méridien did not skimp in this freebie department.
Breakfast Was a Hit!
One morning, Peyton and I ate breakfast at Evoke, Le Méridien’s onsite restaurant. Evoke, a new age Steakhouse, a offered a beautiful setting, high-quality ingredients, and made use of locally made or grown products. She and I both were more than satisfied with our Eggs Benedict and Berry Granola Fruit Parfait. Evoke also served something I had never had before, what they referred to as an eye opener; a fresh fruit juice and herb concoction. It was extremely tasty and an added bonus.
Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit City Lights. This was Le Méridien’s swanky and vibrant rooftop bar. It is a popular after work and weekend gathering spot and featured artisanal cocktails as well as stellar 360° views of the Charlotte skyline.
The Le Méridien provided a fantastic choice for our stay in Charlotte, North Carolina. I hope to return to this property in the future. I cannot think of one single thing that I would change to make it any more enjoyable.
