The Riverside Cafe is a fun and lively restaurant with a casual atmosphere and relaxed environment. There is plenty of parking and the views from the bar area overlook the gorgeous Indian River. Riverside features live music on weekends and has typical bar eats, but definitely a more upscale version of them. The service is spotty, meaning it can be really good sometimes and only average at others. One thing is certain: they grill a mean hamburger!
On my most recent visit, I took my brother, niece, and her friend who were visiting from West Virginia. After running errands all day, we did not feel like getting dressed up for dinner. The Riverside Cafe was the perfect choice for dining because you can come as you are.
We opted to sit in the bar area at a high top table. I had not been there in quite some time and was glad to see country music recording artist Jake Owen memorabilia all over the walls. Jake played here during his early career and when he comes home to visit his family in Vero Beach, he occasionally stops by and breaks out into song.
The Riverside Cafe Offers a Good Variety of Menu Items
The Riverside Cafe is open for lunch and dinner serving a variety of sandwiches, salads, and entrees. On this visit, we settled on Black & Bleu Burgers, a Chicken Quesadilla, and an adult Grilled Cheese. Everything tasted delicious! Besides tasting so good, the prices were affordable.
I love hanging in the bar at Riverside Cafe. There are 35 TV screens to choose from and watching sporting events here is spectacular with their BOSE sound system. They also have 24 beers on draft. Try a beer flight sampling where you get to choose 4 different types of beer to taste.
If you stop by on Sundays, you can try the for Riverside Cafe’s All you Can Eat Brunch Buffet from 10Am-2PM. The price is $21.99 per person and includes a raw bar with Peel & Eat Shrimp, Oysters, and a carving station. An omelet and waffle station are also included.
My Rating Scale 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest)= 8
