100 Ridge Way
Flowood, MS 39232
Why We Went: I featured Table 100 in my Valentine’s Day restaurant article and my dining experience was absolutely incredible! When Blake (my husband) and I walked in, we were greeted by friendly hosts and a warm atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening and even better food. The best part of the night was seeing all of the people that Table 100 appeals to: those getting off of work, families, couples on dates, women having drinks, and even the Governor of Mississippi.
What We Had: I ordered the Flash Fried Jumbo Shrimp served with smoked tomato tartar sauce, seasonal slaw, and hand-cut fries. Oh my goodness, it was divine! The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. Even though the shrimp had been fried, they were not one bit greasy. Blake opted for the Cowboy Ribeye and I had never seen him so excited to eat a steak. It was served with asparagus and potatoes.
Blake and I got to try the Tuna Sashimi (plated beautifully) and Osso Buco (veal shank containing marrowbone, stewed in wine and seasonings), a real treat for us. We finished our dinner with the Warm Cheesecake Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and served with white chocolate sauce and fresh berry coulis. It was the perfect way to end our dinner. Our entire meal was wonderful!
Something Special: Table 100 gives back to the community. They use Farm to Table ingredients, helping local farmers. Table 100 also donates part of their gift card sales to local organizations, such as The Mustard Seed and Friends of Children’s Hospital. How awesome!
Noteworthy: The drink menu is to die for. Not only does Table 100 have a huge wine offering and awesome Cruvinet system, but they also serve specialty cocktails and craft beer.
Best Part of the Meal: Our service was wonderful! Ms. Jimmie was definitely on top of her game. Servers leave cards on the table with their names on them and I thought it was a great touch. At one point, I saw Chef Mike Römhild go sit with a man who was eating by himself and strike up a conversation. Manager Chris was mingling with guests throughout the restaurant, as well.
Bonus: Table 100 has brunch on Sundays. Some of the menu items include Eggs Benedict, Crab Cake Florentine, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Yum!
What Needs Improvement: I can think of nothing that needs improvement. Our food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible.
My Rating Scale 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest)= 10!
Note: Table 100 is available for corporate events, wedding reception and rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, and birthday parties. They also offer catering.
