(UPDATED JULY 2022) The mighty yet majestic Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, is heralded as one of the most lavish hotels in the state, as well as the tallest. The Beau is a property of MGM Resorts, the #1 name in gaming resorts worldwide. Biloxi has been fortunate to have this luxury hotel and casino in its city since 1999.
Weathering the brunt of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Beau Rivage Casino helped protect smaller properties around it but had significant damage. Rebuilt and better than ever, a stay at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is nothing short of spectacular.
Checking In at the Beau
On my visit to the Beau Rivage Casino, I was lucky to use the VIP check-in desk. The entire process only took maybe two minutes, start to finish. I was given my room key and property map and offered snacks and drinks to take to my room before heading out to check my digs.
Relaxing in My Beau Rivage Biloxi Room
Once I entered my room, I knew I was in for a delightful stay as I enjoyed Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In warm tones of gold and maroon, gorgeous fabrics decorated the huge room, with a floor-to-ceiling picture window overlooking Beau’s beautiful swimming pool and hot tub.
My 400-sq.-ft. deluxe ocean view room had two queen beds with comfy mattresses, a great selection of pillows, and a sitting area with two chairs. The room also had a desk, refrigerator, flatscreen TV, and many plug-ins for my tech gear.
As I explored my room further, I found an enormous marble bathroom with a huge soaking tub, separate glass shower, and vanity big enough to hold all my stuff. Yep, these digs were getting major thumbs up.
The Beau Rivage Casino
As I wandered into the casino, I took in all the action on the floor. The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is decorated in a classic, elegant fashion that shouted to me, “Welcome to the True South.” Florals, checks, stripes, and rich fabrics with wrought iron warmed the atmosphere, and the dinging of winning bells made me happy just to be there. The chandelier-lined walkways didn’t hurt either.
The gaming selection at the Beau Rivage Biloxi consists of table games (Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette) and 1,800 slot machines, my favorite! There were more high-dollar slots in this casino than anywhere I’ve ever seen in the world!
Remember that sodas, coffee, and alcoholic beverages are complimentary as long as you are actively gambling. Order call liquor; this is your chance.
Decadent Dining and Beau Amenities
Foodies will love visiting and dining at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. Two of the top restaurants in Mississippi are on the premises, B.R. Print (Steakhouse) and Jia (Asian cuisine). Other choices include the favorite Italian Stalla, Terrace Cafe (off the lobby), Pool Bar & Cafe, Coast Seafood & Brew, and of course, an extensive fantastic casino buffet called “The Buffet.”
The Beau Rivage Casino doesn’t stop with a major gaming complex and noteworthy hotel rooms. It also has a high-end spa, salon, workout facility offering state-of-the-art equipment, and two nightclubs.
Check out the concert schedule (here) with top-name acts playing year-round. Chris Tucker, Nelly, and Bret Michaels are coming soon. The Beau is pet-friendly, so bring Fido with you.
If shopping is one of your hobbies, you are in for a real treat. The fantastic selection of stores at the Beau Rivage Casino is to be commended. Stop in the gourmet coffee roaster, Roasted Bean, and have a Tuna Salad Sandwich and your favorite coffee fixation. Yum! Satisfy your sweet tooth with a cone from Haagen Dazs.
The Beau Rivage Delivers A Memorable Experience
I cannot stress enough how pleased I was to stay at the lovely Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. I didn’t even have to go outside the doors to enjoy four days of fantastic fun, delicious food, and a relaxing stay. It was incredible to enjoy the sensational garden displays and sweet smells from the floral arrangements no matter where I went in the resort.
Well done to the staff and gardeners of the Beau Rivage Casino for being the epitome of a gracious Southern host and welcome home-away-from-home.

I was disappointed with house keeping and room service. The pizza was terrible, tasted like they opened a can of tomato paste slapped it on there and melted cheese. The front desk manager was great.. made sure we weren't charged for it. Housekeeping? There was none, they made the bed.. never licked up any dri is from night before or the room service tray. We stayed 5 days and that should give you an idea of how much stuff piled up

Did you mention this to the hotel before checking out? I would always recommend to let management know when things aren't to your satisfaction. I personally know a few folks at this hotel and customer satisfaction is their #1 goal. Sorry you had a less than perfect experience.
