If you are looking for good wings, draft beer, and sporting events, all within a fun atmosphere, look no further than Hurricane Grill & Wings, most commonly referred to as Hurricane Wings. With multiple locations scattered throughout the United States, it is apparent that they are a crowd favorite. My local Hurricane Wings is located on US1, just a short five-minute drive from my house.
Why We Went: When my daughter (who lives in Mississippi) visits, this is always the first stop on her list.
What We Had: Instead of ordering my usual, I chose the new Buffalo Mac & Cheese. The rest of my family had a small order of Boneless Firecracker Wings, Traditional Barbecue Wings, and a small order of Boneless Wings with Teriyaki sauce on the side. Our sides were kettle chips, french fries, and cole slaw.
Something Special: For no additional charge, you can opt for two flavors for your wings instead of just one.
Do not miss getting your own Hurricane Wings VIP card.
Noteworthy: Hurricane Wings has a frequent diner VIP card (which you must present upon paying) that gives you points for every dollar spent and accumulate towards coupons. Another thing to note is that the wings are full of meat.
Bonus: Hurricane Grill & Wings is my favorite place to watch sporting events. There are multiple TV’s throughout the restaurant, plus they offer a wide selection of beers on tap. If you are in Vero and the NFL game you are looking for is not broadcasted on local stations (I am a Steelers fan and they hardly ever show them down South), this is where you can catch it.
What Needs Improvement: The pricing at Hurricane Wings is very inconsistent. Sometimes they charge you for an extra cup of sauce, sometimes not. Also if you get to-go food, check the bag. I cannot count how many times we have picked up food from here and it has been wrong. Delicious, but wrong.
Total Check Before Tip: $53.06
