My Shopping Experience at The Gardens Mall, Florida
The beautiful Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is a shopper’s paradise. While some malls may be experiencing a decline in customers due to the boom of internet sales, The Gardens Mall is holding steady by offering excellent customer service, popular stores, and unique opportunities from their vendors. Tastefully decorated and adorned with stately statues, vibrant blooms and landscaping, The Gardens Mall is one that sparkles top to bottom.
I am not big into the retail world, but I had a blast visiting The Gardens Mall. Read about my time at this beautiful mall with my friend Vicky, a Miami travel blogger. Check out what we loved about this world-class retail establishment.
What Makes The Gardens Mall Special
The Gardens Mall is privately owned, has plenty of floor space with no tacky kiosks, and is decorated with attractive landscaping. The mall boasts over 150 specialty stores. Guest amenities include free WiFi, strollers, wheelchairs, and a currency exchange. Services available on-site are a post office, valet parking, iPhone repair, hair/spa/nail salons, and optometrists. Any questions that may come up during your mall experience can be answered by a Text Concierge Service (561-440-4440). How cool is that?
Mall Food
There are plenty of delicious places to eat in The Gardens Mall and restaurants that will suit any budget. For those wanting a full-service dining experience, choices include P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Brio Tuscan Grille, California Pizza Kitchen, and Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant. Quick dining options at The Gardens Mall are Chinatown, Chick-fil-A, and Subway. Fancy a snack? Try something sweet from Godiva Chocolatier, Sugar Happens, or Mrs. Fields Cookies.
The Cool Stores I Experienced
Several stores at The Gardens Mall offers free things to get customers inside of their doors. I was not expecting that! Vicky and I got to visit four stores and learn a little bit about them.
Jo Malone
Jo Malone is a fine British fragrance store that I love and have worn for years. Guests who visit their savvy store can be treated to an in-depth hand massage. Our massage included custom scented lotion (we picked the ones that we liked), snacks and drinks, and delightful hot towels wrapped around our hands and forearms. Who knew we would find relaxation at the mall? I left Jo Malone relaxed and toting a new three pack of heavenly scents, including my favorite Basil & Neroli, that is the perfect size for traveling.
kate spade new york
We were welcomed at kate spade with a mini fashion show while the managers shared the latest fashion trends with us. The kate spade collections were stunning. This was my first time visiting a kate spade new york store. I was amazed by how much inventory was in the store and how often the collections change. I wanted to buy everything!
Sam Edelman
Vicky and I happened upon a non-advertised sale at Sam Edelman, with a whopping 30-50% off many selections in the store. This was reason enough for me to come home with two new pairs of stylish shoes. I loved the sequined sneakers but wasn’t sure I could pull them off.
Aveda
Lastly, Aveda offers a unique scalp camera that will show the condition of your hair follicles and scalp. They have treatment plans available for all sorts of scalp damage. Aveda also offers a free 20-minute personalized facial. Stop in or call to book yours today.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant
Vicky and I had lunch at Cooper’s Hawk Winery, a popular small chain that is causing quite a stir with foodies and wine lovers. Wine being their specialty is available by the glass, bottle, or flight. For starters, we opted for the Mexican Drunken Shrimp: five jumbo bacon-wrapped shrimp with tequila lime butter sauce. Oh heavenly day, they were superb. My lunch entrée was the Napa Chicken, a delicious healthy option tossed with apples, goat cheese, dried cherry, avocado, fresh corn, tomato, and toasted Marcona almonds.
Pro Tip: From the inside of the mall, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant looks like a wine store only. However, a full-service restaurant is in the back and can also be entered from an outside entrance.
Revisit Your Local Shopping Mall
My friend and I had a blast during our Palm Beach Gardens shopping experience. It brought back a nostalgic feeling as well as inspired a new drive to get out more and support the local economy in person rather than by computer. Check out your local shopping mall to see how it has changed and you be the judge. Meanwhile, if you are in The Palm Beaches of Florida, be sure to drop by The Gardens Mall and say hello.
I love the Gardens Mall! I visited quite frequently when I still lived in Florida but I had no idea about the text concierge service– that would have come in handy quite a bit. I haven’t seen any other malls do that, that’s a really cool service.
Thanks! We thought so, too. I mean we text everybody about everything else, right? 😉 Thanks for reading.
Kate Spade brings back memories for sure! It was my first Designer Handbag! ha!
Oh I remember all of those important details, too. 😉
I could go crazy at Kate Spade and Jo Malone! Just love visiting American malls.
Looks like an awesome mall. I would love to go on a trip there with my mom! And I’d definitely make a stop at that winery.
Wonderful! How nice that you get to travel with your mom. Mine has no desire, so I’m lucky that my girls will still have me around. 😉
It is always so nice to find a place to shop where you can find unique items! What a great place to go.
This sounds like a great mall to visit when in the Palm Beach Area. With over 150 stores, it makes one-stop shopping easy. Also, I love the idea of being able to text concierge for assistance. How convenient!
Thanks for reading. Yes, so modern. 😉 I love it.
I love American shopping centres! They are so different to ones here in Aus! And what a bloody cool Fam trip! I need to find one of those here!
Haha. We thought so, too! 😉 Thanks for reading.
