The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is the closest resort to Disney Springs and an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel in Orlando, Florida. The 19-story tower, with 232 rooms, has a lakehouse theme with modern and contemporary furnishings.
I have stayed at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista twice and it is one of my favorite hotels in the area. The location is perfect, guest rooms are comfortable, and the hotel has a lot of attractive amenities, especially for those visiting Walt Disney World. Here is my Wyndham Lake Buena Vista review.

Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is directly beside of Disney Springs. You can take a shuttle from the hotel (from 6 PM to 3 AM) or walk across the pedestrian bridge to get there. It takes about 10 minutes to walk, and you end up between Earl of Sandwich and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the Marketplace portion of Disney Springs. There are elevators on both sides of the street should you need them.
If you aren’t familiar with Disney Springs, it is home to more than 150 shops, 60 restaurants, and numerous entertainment venues. Here’s everything you need to know about Disney Springs!
Since the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is a Disney Springs Area hotel, you have access to Extra Magic Hours and can make your FastPasses 60 days in advance. A shuttle runs from the hotel to all four Disney parks every 30 minutes. Busses start 1 hour before the park opens and end 90 minutes after the park closes. If you are traveling to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, you will need to ask for the bus schedule at check-in.

Guest Rooms
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista’s guest rooms are adorable. The spacious room’s furnishings play into the lakehouse theme and the super comfortable beds have pillowtop mattresses and luxurious linens. The room also has a desk, mini fridge, safe, and USB charging ports beside the bed. With all of the drawers and closet space, there’s plenty of room for everybody’s things.
Splurge on a Disney view room and see the nighttime fireworks at Magic Kingdom!

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Amenities
Perhaps the biggest draw at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is the Oasis Aquatic Pool Playground. This 189,000-gallon heated pool has zero entry, a rock waterfall, and tons of water play equipment for children. There is also a small cooldown pool, elevated hot tub, and poolside concierge where you can buy sunscreen or rent pool toys and floats. Make the most of your day in the Florida sun by renting a cabana.
There are plenty of ways to stay active at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista–spend time at the fitness center or on the sand volleyball court and basketball court. Kids will love visiting the game room and shopping in the on-site Disney gift store.

If you’re driving to the hotel, choose between self and valet parking (both, $20 per day). In addition to Disney parks transportation, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista will also take you to the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. A reservation is required. Samsonite, Nike Factory Store, Carter’s, and Under Armour are all found at this outdoor shopping mall.
Access to the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista’s amenities and Wi-Fi are all included in the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista’s $25 per day resort fee.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista is connected to the hotel and offers courtyard-style guest rooms if you would prefer that.

On-Property Restaurants
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista offers five on-property dining options. The Lakeview Restaurant serves breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 AM and dinner from 5 to 10 PM. It is home to the very popular Disney Character Breakfast buffet with Goofy and Pluto on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. Oasis Bar & Grill is the casual poolside eatery, open from 11 AM to 10 PM daily.
The Eclipse Bar and Sundial are both located on the lobby level. The Eclipse Bar serves cocktails and bar food from 5 PM to 2 AM while Sundial is open 24-7, selling grab n go food, snacks, and beverages.
Don’t feel like leaving your room? You don’t have to! In-room dining is available from 7:30 AM to 11 PM.

My Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Review
I have stayed at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista twice, and I absolutely love it. The rooms are spacious and have really cute decor. I spend a lot of time at Disney Springs, so the location is perfect for me. By staying so close, we can walk over to Disney Springs for lunch and dinner–branching out from the park’s offerings.
Disney transportation is another big draw for me. I like being able to park my car when I arrive at the hotel and not do any driving while I’m on vacation. Plus, I can take a bus to any park and be dropped off near the entrance.
While I haven’t booked my stay at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista in time to take advantage of the early FastPass bookings, that’s a huge perk–especially for those wanting to ride Flight of Passage (Animal Kingdom), Slinky Dog Dash (Hollywood Studios), Frozen Ever After (Epcot), or the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Magic Kingdom).

Stay At The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista
My overall Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Review is that it is a great Walt Disney World hotel choice. Its location puts you in the heart of the action and it provides numerous Disney benefits without the hefty price tag that come with other Disney resorts.
Plus, there’s a lot to do at the hotel itself, so you could spend a day relaxing by the fantastic pool, taking a break from pounding Disney park pavement.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
