Palm Beach is one of, if not the, wealthiest communities in Florida. Sitting on Florida’s East Coast/Atlantic Ocean, Palm Beach is a place of indulgence and pampering. Luxury accommodations are plentiful, but my top pick is the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa, steps away from the beach and offering beautiful rooms and grounds.

The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort is stylish, chic, and offers a warm welcome to those who enter their doors. A delicious smell cleverly piped in and follows with you throughout the whole first floor. The aromas, along with the beautiful furniture and decor and sheer beauty of the resort, are enchanting. Several seating nooks offer privacy and room to social distance and relax.

My Pleasure, Mrs. Pittman
The 20-story hotel is super easy to get to, and both self-park and valet parking is available. Upon check-in, the Marriott’s friendly staff greeted my husband Eddie and me, and in two minutes, we were heading off to the room.

Every room at the Palm Beach Marriott (192 in total) is considered condominium-style suites. Ours had a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, and every kitchen item and appliance you can imagine. A unique feature is that the refrigerator had a water purification system (cold, filtered water at the touch of a button inside the door). I seriously developed a drinking problem because it was so good.

Across from the bar that separated the two rooms was the living room with all the pleasantries of home. The spacious room was done in a “soft coastal palate,” offering a state-of-the-art 42″ flat-screen TV, Bose electronics, sleeper sofa, and two comfy chairs. I loved the floor to ceiling windows.
Eddie was in awe of the bedroom with a King-size bed adorned in high-quality linens. I preferred the huge bath that held an oversized glass-enclosed shower and a deep-soaking tub that excited me to no end.

A fantastic balcony was accessible from the sliding glass doors in the bedroom or living room and afforded coastline views. We spent quite a lot of time admiring the beautiful scenery from that balcony. The layered blue water of the Atlantic Ocean and scarcely populated beaches lured us in from the start.

A Family-Friendly Resort
The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island is a family-friendly vacation spot, which was apparent from the abundance of families there to enjoy all of the hotel amenities. There is something extraordinary for every guest, from the kids club to daily activities for all resort guests (some may include a participation fee), upscale spa services to water activities.

Outside on the resort grounds, the Palm Beach Marriott houses both a Grotto-style lagoon pool and a gorgeous infinity pool. The lagoon pool has a twisty slide and waterfall that kids will adore. Guests and families were enjoying the likes of both. Cabanas are available for rent for those seeking privacy. Be on the lookout for the huge iguana, which added photo ops around every corner.

Sispa is the spa at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Resort. Indulge in a luxurious massage, facial, or one of the other choices at this grand spa facility. The spa shop sells premium brands of skincare and spa products to restock your arsenal, as well as apparel and accessories.

A daily resort fee of $35 includes the following fun during your beach escape: valet parking, evening ritual including signature drinks, WiFi, two beach chairs, daily dry cleaning, two bottled waters, unlimited local and domestic long-distance calls, on property games and enhanced guest activities. subject to change without notice.
Palate Pleasing Dining Experiences
The Marriott property has a pool bar (Reef Tiki Bar) and an onsite restaurant. On the bar menu are salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and a great selection of tropical drinks and Pacific-Rim favorites. Inside the hotel is a full-service restaurant, 3800 Ocean and Ocean Breeze Cafe, with coffee, grab & go items, pastries, and drinks. Ocean Breeze Cafe is open daily from 7 AM to 5 PM. 3800 Ocean serves dinner daily and breakfast Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Breakfast options at the 3800 Ocean were affordable, especially considering how upscale the hotel is. If you desire a full breakfast, go for the Banana’s Foster and Nutella Stuffed French Toast or Spinach, Herb Goat Cheese, and Roasted Tomato Omelet. Lighter appetites might prefer the Fresh Florida Fruit and Berry Plate or grab a muffin or pastry from the cafe.

Eddie and I had dinner at 3800 Ocean, the award-winning restaurant with fresh seafood and plenty of options. The winds were too gusty for eating outdoors, so we enjoyed a romantic table for two with a window view. We started our dining experience with a special appetizer of Thai Rock Shrimp and shared the 3800 “Caesar” Salad.

For dinner, I chose the traditional Spaghetti and Meatballs, with a side of ricotta cheese. My husband went with the blackened Grouper with avocado and tropical salsa. Both of our meals were excellent!
Though we were too full, I would have loved to taste the Cookie Dough Bread Pudding for dessert.

Touring the Marriott Grounds
I toured the Marriott property with the Director of Sales & Marketing, who answered questions and shared the hotel’s story with me. We walked to the private beach where a tiki-style hut served as the water activities sign-up location and sundries store. The sand on the beach felt super soft, and the beach views were excellent.
Something unique about the location of the Palm Beach Marriott is that it sits on a reef, perfect for snorkeling or scuba diving. Do not sweat it if you forgot the kid’s beach toys, swimsuits, or sunscreen as the sundries shop has everything you need.

A great spot for unwinding is at the outdoor fire pit, either in the cushioned chairs or on the round lounges. It is a picture-perfect place to sit and enjoy social time with friends or that special someone. The lounges are great for reading and napping, too.
The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island is an exceptional place to stay for luxury accommodations, stellar ocean views, and a host of amenities. This is one splurge that will indeed be justified.
FYI: Keep in mind that the Marriott is an ideal location for meetings and weddings. They have their fair share of weddings, and after walking around the pristine grounds, I can see why so many people choose it.

Thanks to the Marriott for hosting my visit. As always, reviews and opinions are 100% mine and unbiased.

Nice to read your description and favorable opinion of the resort. This is a Marriott Vacation Club property so the regular rooms are hotel room-like studios and the others are 1 or 2 bedroom villas. Just booked a week there for September and you really made me look forward to it!

I'm so glad to hear it! I really loved that property and was telling some journalists about it this weekend. So many kid activities, too. You should spring for the spa and let me know how it is. I didn't have time for it.

I have stayed there many times and it's everything that Melody says and more. There is a gorgeous gazebo by the 'grown-up' pool that's perfect for wedding ceremonies. They have the nicest staff I've ever encountered, equal to The Ritz.

Funny you say that because I felt much more like I was at a Ritz at this particular property, especially with all the kids activities and such. ;) Thanks so much for backing me up!
