Spicy Party Shrimp Recipe
A few months ago, I started making a binder full of recipes that I found on Pinterest. It took me quite a few weeks to look at each recipe, decide if it was something that I would actually make or not, and get them down on paper. Now, my “Yummy” Pinterst board just houses the recipes that are in my binder so that I can look at the pictures when deciding what to make.
Blake (my husband) and I were having family dinner with his parents for the first time since we got married, and I wanted to make something other than my usual Chicken Alfredo Roll-Ups. I had just bought a bag of shrimp at Kroger, so I headed right to the shrimp section of my Pinterest binder and opted for South Your Mouth‘s Party Shrimp. They were a huge hit! I will definitely be making these tasty numbers again.
- 1.5 pounds Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 package Italian dressing mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Pinch of salt
Add shrimp to a large lidded container or Ziploc bag. Whisk together the unprepared dressing mix, oil, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt unit well combined. Add the shrimp to the bowl; toss to coat. Refrigerate 1-4 hours.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drain shrimp from the dressing mix and place in a single layer on the baking sheet. Broil on the top rack 5-7 minutes, flipping once during cooking. Serve shrimp hot.
Enjoy this spicy party shrimp recipe with your favorite crusty bread.
