Looking for a top-notch RV resort near Houston and The Woodlands, Texas? Rayford Crossing RV Resort should be at the top of your list! This resort boasts cozy RV sites, great amenities, and plenty of fun activities to keep you entertained.

During our journey through Texas, we found Rayford Crossing RV Resort in Spring, TX to be an excellent choice! Nestled in a peaceful residential area a couple of miles off the main road, this resort creates a serene atmosphere for you.

Checking in was a breeze with friendly staff eager to show us the amenities and social calendar. We were particularly impressed by the complimentary coffee, bottled water, and snacks in the lobby, as well as the shelves of forgotten items that could be purchased, local brochures, and a cozy seating area.

Come see for yourself why Rayford Crossing RV Resort is the perfect pick for your next road trip!

A Well Laid-Out RV Property

The Rayford Crossing RV Resort, a premier RV park, I might add, has a spacious layout allowing for easy maneuvering. The property offers well-kept grassy areas and even some shady trees for those hot Texas afternoons.

We appreciated the concrete pads and handy picnic tables. And they are all about that personal touch, which is why they will have someone escort you to your site and even pick up your trash daily.

Rayford Crossing Resort Amenities

Discover the ultimate recreation at Rayford Crossing! Adjacent to the office is an expansive library fully stocked with books, puzzles, and games; they even offer a movie library with hundreds of titles available for check-out.

For those looking for something more active, a gymnasium equipped with treadmills, free weights, ellipticals, and other exercise equipment is just down the hall. There are men and women’s bathhouses situated nearby for your convenience.

Bring on the fun in the game room, where you can enjoy a game of foosball or billiards, along with other exciting activities. Step outside and you’ll find a one-of-a-kind tropical and heated pool–a rarity in our travels thus far. The pool is handicap-accessible, making it an inclusive environment for all.

Take a seat under one of the thatched roof tables and chairs for a lovely shaded retreat.

Family-friendly activities include shuffleboard (a favorite in our old hometown of Vero Beach), horseshoes, a playground, and a stocked catch &release fishing pond.

Plus, for furry family members, there is a large fenced dog area for off-leash playtime. Lastly, there is a BBQ pavilion with a smoker.

Bonus Park Model Features

Rayford Crossing has you covered with four deluxe park model RVs that are perfect for those who want to dip their toes into the RVing world. Among the lavish and lovely cabins, the fourth one stands out with its gorgeous stone fireplace and spacious covered patio.

But it’s not just about the cabins. Rayford Crossing’s social calendar is bubbling with excitement as neighboring campers invite guests to fantastic functions that you can sign up for in the lobby entrance. Whether it’s a lively Mexican Potluck dinner or a week day beverage tasting event, these gatherings provide the perfect opportunity to make new acquaintances while traveling.

Around the Area

Suppose you are looking for things to do outside of the RV resort. In that case, you are in an excellent location and not far from Houston, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (for outstanding concerts), Space Center Houston, and The Woodlands, great for shopping and dining.

We also found the Tejas Bingo in Conroe, which offers daily play, and brings in a crowd featuring date nights, families, and all walks of life. We had a blast there, and it was super clean and family-friendly.

For some dining options, Crust Pizza Co. was our go-to for take-out, and Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen for our Tex-Mex faves, both located in Spring. Over in The Woodlands are Fielding’s Wood Grill and True Food Kitchen for a fantastic brunch and cocktail flight.

For an excellent happy hour, try Lupe Tortilla, and for goodness sake’s, try the Pina Colada made with condensed milk.
