Irish Eats at Disney Springs’ Raglan Road
If you are like me, you love a good Irish pub. They are typically a haven for delicious food, cold beer, and loads of fun. Unfortunately, this is not what we found at Disney Springs’ Raglan Road Irish Pub.
Why We Went: My daughters and I were visiting Disney Springs. We did not have a dinner reservation but noticed that the Raglan Road Irish Pub was not on a wait (a rarity at Disney Springs!). We snagged a table on the boisterous patio.
What We Had: I ordered the Beef Carpaccio as an appetizer and Caesar Salad for dinner. My daughters shared the Fish & Chips. The carpaccio, typically one of my favorite dishes, was bland and boring. I did not think it was possible to really mess up a Caesar salad, but theirs was not a good recipe at all.
Something Special: Raglan Road’s patio has very nice ambiance. We enjoyed dining outside.
Noteworthy: There was no part of our experience that was noteworthy. I will not be back.
Best Part of the Meal: The girls enjoyed their Fish and Chips, but it was $20 and came with one piece of fish and a handful of fries.
Bonus: Raglan Road advertises live entertainment and traditional Irish dancing 7 nights a week. A small stage was set up outside when we got there at 5:30. A few musicians came out and played two songs while three dancers took turns dancing on the stage. This entire production lasted maybe five minutes and that was it. Seriously?
What Needs Improvement: The food needs some flavor; I found it all to be very uneventful and lacking in taste and originality.
Total Check Before Tip: $51.66
My Rating Scale: 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest): 5
