Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Make Cleanup Easy
In my house, I do the cooking and my husband does the dishes. There is only one instance when my husband does not like doing the dishes: when I cook with cheese. Cleaning a dish with baked on cheese used to be a nightmare for him and I stayed far away; but not anymore, thanks to Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots!
Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dot Products
The Scotch-Brite™ Brand has created two Scrub Dots products. First, are Heavy Duty Scrub Dots Sponges and Dishwands, designed to eliminate baked on messes. Use Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Dots Sponges or Dishwands on pots, pans, and heavy duty cookware. The second, are Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Sponges or Dishwands. They safely clean all cookware without scratching. Use Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Sponges or Dishwands on non-stick cookware, counter tops, and cook tops.
Easily identify which Scrub Dots product is which by looking at the color of the dots: Heavy Duty Scrub Dots are green while the Non-Scratch Scrub Dots are blue. If you use the right tool for each surface, it Scrubs Fast and Rinses Clean.

Shopping At Kroger
I do all of my shopping at Kroger, which makes it easy to pick up my groceries for the week and Scotch-Brite™ Brand cleanup products, too. Pick up your Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Sponges or Dishwands from Kroger in the cleaning aisle.
I prefer to use the Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Dishwands because I like the handle. Simply unscrew the bottom of the Dishwand, add liquid dish product, and screw the cap back on. Your Dishwand is ready to use again and again. When the sponge head needs replaced, you can buy a refill pack instead of having to replace the whole Dishwand.
My Macaroni And Cheese Recipe
I love cooking homemade Macaroni and Cheese, but the casserole dish is always a nightmare to clean. For this post, I made my homemade Macaroni and Cheese so you could see how well the Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Dishwand cleaned my dish!
- 1 Box Mini Farfalle Pasta
- 1/2 Stick Butter (4 Tbs)
- 1 1/2-2 Cups Milk
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder to taste
- 2 Cup Colby Jack Cheese
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Boil water and cook pasta to al dente. While the pasta is cooking, mix butter, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 2 cups cheese. When the pasta is finished cooking, drain, and add noodles to the cheese mix. Mix well.
- Pour Macaroni and Cheese into a casserole dish. Top with the remaining cup of cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
Cleanup Is A Breeze
After baking my Macaroni and Cheese, refrigerating it, and reheating it a time or two, it is finally time to clean the dish. Normally, I run away from the dishes and let my husband handle them, but I am actually enjoying doing the dishes using my Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Dishwand. Cleanup has never been easier!
I had my husband take several pictures while I washed my Macaroni and Cheese dish because I wanted you to see how well the Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Dishwand works. The top picture is what my sink looks like; I keep both Dishwands ready to use. The top right picture below it is my casserole dish before I cleaned it, below it you can see where I washed half of the dish (WOW!), and the bottom left picture is my casserole dish clean. Isn’t that crazy? I am loving the new Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots Dishwands!
