Discover the stunning beauty of Providenciales, the vibrant heart of Turks and Caicos. This bustling island is renowned for its magnificent 12-mile stretch of white sandy beaches, including the acclaimed Grace Bay Beach. Rated the world’s best beach by Trip Advisor Travelers Choice and prestigious publications like Condé Nast, Grace Bay will take your breath away with its turquoise waters and thriving coral reefs.

Turks and Caicos is a group of 47 islands and cays in the Caribbean, seven of which you can vacation on. These islands boast world-class luxury hotels and spas, ensuring an unforgettable escape.
During our visit, my husband Eddie and I fell head over heels for Providenciales, affectionately known as “Provo” by locals. This family-friendly paradise, located on the west side of Turks and Caicos, is a major tourist hotspot.

One of the main draws to Provo is its convenient hour-long flight from Miami airport, making it easily accessible for travelers. Despite its location in the Caribbean’s Hurricane Alley, Provo has remained untouched by unfavorable weather for decades.
Embark on an extraordinary vacation at Provo’s world-class beach and experience the wonders that await.
Alexandra Resort
Welcome to Provo (Providenciales), Turks and Caicos! Our first property offering luxurious accommodations was a beachfront all-inclusive getaway at Alexandra Resort. As you enter the Lady Rose building, you’ll be greeted by stunning oceanfront views. The spacious suite features chic island furniture and a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

Enjoy dining at the six-person table in the dining room or on the patio with outdoor seating. The bedroom offers a comfortable bed with Egyptian cotton linens, large flatscreen TVs in the living room and bedroom, and a luxurious bathroom with a double sink, glass-enclosed shower, and deep tub.

Many special touches set the Alexandra Resort in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, apart from typical hotels. Enjoy a curated selection of books and magazines in your room, along with umbrellas for inclement weather. Let the soothing melodies of the Bose stereo transport you to island paradise.
Unwind on an oversized balcony with breathtaking ocean vistas, complete with comfortable chairs for work or sunset gazing. Immerse yourself in a perfectly landscaped resort, complemented by property-wide high-speed Wi-Fi and 24-hour lobby service.

Exemplary Staff and Amenities
Experience the warm hospitality of Alexandra Resort’s staff, making your Turks and Caicos vacation unforgettable. With an inviting outdoor bar adorned with twinkling wicker lanterns, you can indulge in friendly conversation while sipping delicious cocktails.

The resort offers abundant outdoor activities in Providenciales, including banana boat rides, fishing tours, paddle boarding, parasailing, jet skis, a spa, an exercise room, and bicycles. Take a refreshing dip in the expansive swimming pool and let the attentive attendants serve you a delightful lunch and cocktails by the pool or beach.

Alexandra Resort’s Food
Eddie and I dined at Asú for breakfast. I enjoyed the delicious Avocado Toast, while Eddie opted for the hearty American Breakfast. The lunch menu featured tasty Chicken Cobb and Caesar Salads with generous portions of chicken.

Our dinner experience at Fish Deck was truly remarkable. The restaurant transformed at night, with illuminated baskets, flaming tiki torches, and tasteful white lights creating a magical ambiance.
Jumbo Coconut Shrimp tantalized our taste buds as a pre-dinner treat. For our main courses, we savored the flavors of Jerk Grouper on rice with veggie couscous and Mahi Mahi with red curry sauce, accompanied by mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Petrona, our attentive server, provided excellent recommendations for pairing the dishes with the perfect sauces.
We ended our evening on a sweet note by sharing a heavenly slice of Key Lime Pie.

Blue Haven Resort
Eddie and I transferred to the Blue Haven Resort, a 51-unit boutique all-inclusive property at the island’s end. Lose yourself in the tranquil beauty of the primo resort, tucked away at the end of Providenciales. With its exclusive marina and convenient access to exciting watersport excursions, this boutique-style all-inclusive oasis promises a truly unforgettable stay.

Picture yourself in the comfort of a modern suite, offering exquisite views of yachts, mangroves, and the hotel’s infinity pool. Indulge in the functional elegance of our fully-loaded kitchen, spacious living areas, and dreamy balcony with chaise loungers. Our favorite spot was a beautiful white living room with an oversized couch, double ottomans, and flat-screen TV.
Relax by the pool or unwind in one of the welcoming hammocks scattered throughout the property.

Blue Haven’s pool had a designated roped-off area for swimming and chairs with umbrellas for relaxing. Outdoor floats and toys were available for the guests, and dozens of hammocks throughout the property.

Blue Haven Resort Offerings
At Blue Haven, you’ll find a host of enjoyable additions like the life-size chess game, horseshoe courts, water trampoline, beach volleyball, and ping-pong tables. Bicycles are available 24/7 near the lobby. The accommodating staff at Blue Haven will help you plan and organize your dream vacation.
This ecotourism resort in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, offers a wide range of water activities.

Enjoy dining at three onsite restaurants – Fire and Ice, Salt (at the marina), and Jammin’ By the Sea (casual pool fare). Barefoot by the Sea is a fourth option for private dinners. The property also features two bars, including a swim-up bar at the pool. Indulge in cocktails with generous pours.
The infinity swimming pool, embellished with mermaidish sparkling tiles, was my favorite feature at Blue Haven.

Blue Haven’s Food
Enjoy a casual dinner at Salt, with a beautiful outdoor seating area surrounded by swaying palm trees and fragrant plumerias. The restaurant’s navy and white decor, accentuated with red touches, perfectly complements the nautical theme.
Start your meal with the Conch Balls, served with a zesty island sauce, for a taste of Providenciales’ local favorite. For dinner, try the Jumbo Shrimp Diablo. It was excellent! At Salt, you can expect a comfortable and laid-back experience with exceptional service.

Eddie and I enjoyed our breakfast and lunch at Fire and Ice, which had a delicious food rating of 10/10. Our stay in Providenciales ended on a high note with an exceptional dinner experience; Fire and Ice’s unique tabletop charcoal BBQ.
Our feast included Wagyu Beef Flank Steak and Pork Tenderloin, plus a platter of mushrooms. Side items were waffle fries, sauces, and grilled vegetables. It was a sublime dinner!
To conclude our dining experience, we savored Creme Brûlée and Mango Pana Cotta.

Great pictures and it looks like you had an amazing time. Would love to experience this level of luxury one day. That beach is definitely one of the best looking I've ever seen and it's hard to argue with Tripadvisor!

Haha, I do all the time. (argue with TripAdvisor). Do you two visit any non-European beaches? I really loved the ones in Bulgaria. Thanks so much!

Turks and Caicos looks like paradise based on your pictures! I've been to Bahamas but not to any other countries in the Caribbean. Both of the resorts looks gorgeous and perfect for a getaway to relax and eat good food!

Lieurene, Turks and Caicos was already one of my favorite Caribbean choices, even before this wonderful trip to Provo. I'm a Bahamas fan, too, but T&C is definitely a more remote choice. Grace Bay is dazzling!
