Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Mesa Buffet serves up affordable all-you-can-eat meals daily. Be sure to stop by for the weekend Mimosa Brunch for just $15.99—and don’t forget to use your Player’s Rewards Card for discounts and comps! Don’t miss the cheesy has browns and tenderloins.
If you’re visiting on a Friday or Saturday night, the Steak & Shrimp Dinner Buffet is a crowd favorite and well worth trying.
Cups and Scoops
The primo coffee and ice cream shop within the CasaBlanca Resort is open 24/7, has excellent coffee and matcha drinks, and now breakfast options (beginning at 5 AM) made to order. There is also a small grab & go area with fresh donuts, bottled juices, and pastries.
My bet is on the turkey sausage breakfast burrito. It is yummy! Add a double dirty iced matcha and you’ll be set for the day.
Traditional Restaurants in Mesquite (Non-Casino)
The Worden

Golfers and foodies flock to The Terrace Restaurant for a relaxing yet elevated dining experience. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this spot offers a refreshing alternative to Mesquite’s typical buffet-style restaurants.
Must-try dishes:
- Eggs & Chorizo Hash Plate – Zesty chorizo, crispy breakfast potatoes, and poached eggs draped in hollandaise sauce.

The scenic golf course views make this a must-visit spot in Mesquite! Look closely and I figure you’ll spot a roadrunner.
Rain Thai Sushi
For Thai food and sushi, Rain Thai Sushi is a stand-out. The menu includes curry dishes, egg noodle bowls, and excellent sushi rolls. Popular starters include crab rangoons and egg rolls.
If you are looking for a quick stop off I-15 with awesome service and great food, this is it. Kudos to Rain Thai for its user-friendly menu and lovely photos of the menu items.

They also have an array of breakfast sandwiches (your choice of bagel, croissant, or toast) and lunch options like Reubens, tuna salad, and BLT.
Poncho’s Taco Shop
A hidden gem, Poncho’s Taco Shop is located across from the Walmart complex on Pioneer Blvd. Though it lacks a social media presence, its flavors speak for themselves.

For lunch, the Apple Cinnamon Salad with crispy chicken, feta cheese, pecans, green apples, and the most yummy cinnamon dressing is a must-try! They also serve a variety of coffees and teas, plus beer, mimosas, and champagne.
Cinnamon Cafe also serves dinner, but we are so smitten with their breakfast and lunch that we haven’t tried it yet.

If you’re in town for the annual balloon festival, Scotty’s is the place to be. It’s also one of the best places to enjoy an outdoor patio with stellar views.
Peggy Sue’s Diner
