If you’re looking to balance Branson, Missouri’s, dynamic entertainment with a peaceful outdoor retreat, a day trip to Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is an absolute must. A Stunning Escape Into the Outdoors

Dogwood Canyon feels like stepping into a postcard with cascading waterfalls, deep green forests, clear streams filled with trout, and wildlife at every turn. Whether you’re a hiker, photographer, nature lover, or just someone seeking tranquility, this place is pure magic.

You can even be a horseback rider and enjoy this property through a one or 2.5-hour lunch ride.

The Wildlife Tram Tour: An Up-Close Adventure

The Wildlife Tram Tour is the best way to explore the canyon—especially for families or anyone who wants to see the highlights with ease. This 2-hour narrated tour offers an unforgettable look at:

  • Bison-Elk Country pasture (the largest animals at the venue)
  • Texas longhorn, elk, bison, white-tailed deer
  • Bluffs
  • And, on rare lucky days… minks by the waterfalls, which I witnessed!

Along the way, you’ll stop at Thunder Falls Crossing to feed the fish and visit the beautiful Glory Hole, home to golden trout.

A bonus offering tour in winter is the Guided Winter Watch Tour, which focuses on bald eagles.
