Whether you’re staying in an RV, renting one, or kicking back in a cozy cabin, this Camp-Resort is just minutes from St. George and the jaw-dropping landscapes of Zion National Park. With canyon views, family-focused amenities, and a full calendar of activities, it’s no surprise Jellystone Park Zion (trademarked) is quickly becoming one of Utah’s best campground experiences—and one of our family’s favorite finds.

Why We Love Gramping (and Jellystone Parks!)

We’re a Jellystone family through and through. I’ve been singing the praises of Jellystone Park Pelahatchie (formerly Yogi on the Lake) for years We discovered another Jellystone gem last fall in West Georgia.

But Jellystone Park Zion takes things to the next level with its unique desert-meets-mountain setting and upscale, family-friendly vibes. And while our RV had already been tucked away for the season, we didn’t miss a beat—thanks to the darling glamping cabins!

Glamping Cabins with All the Comforts of Home

Let’s talk lodging. Jellystone Park Zion offers several options, and the cabins are absolutely adorable. We stayed in one of their two-bedroom glamping cabins—complete with a kids’ loft (with two beds — one for the stuffies and Barbies in our case!), two bathrooms, a sky deck, a full kitchen, an outdoor fire pit, a dining area, TVs, and crisp AC.

It easily fits up to five or six people, which is perfect for larger families or when grandparents tag along.

The furnishings were trendy and thoughtful, from floating shelves, upscale dishes, and cozy linens to spacious showers and comfy beds. You’ll want to bring along games or puzzles for evenings around the dining table or lazy mornings before the fun kicks off.

Jellystone is also first and foremost an RV campground, but don’t worry if you do not have an RV. They have partnered with RVshare, the world’s largest peer-to-peer RV rental platform, so you can still roll up in style even if you don’t own one.

A Water Wonderland in the Desert

Our family loves a good pool, and Jellystone Park Zion has one of the best we’ve seen! Included with every reservation is access to the Water Zone, which features:

  • A heated pool
  • Multiple water slides
  • A plunge bowl
  • Splashground and activity pool
  • Speeder slides
  • Lazy river
  • Kiddie pool
  • Private cabanas
  • Hot tubs

But the standout for us? The floating obstacle course! Kids and grown-ups alike had a blast racing, climbing, and laughing the entire time. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug from the world and enjoy being together.

My granddaughter especially loved the gem mining, and the sports complex with pickleball was a hit with the older kids and grandparents alike.

Getting Around: Golf Carts & Bikes

This Jellystone Park Zion campground is expansive, and to fully enjoy every nook and cranny, renting a golf cart is a must. It makes it easy for grandparents to get around and adds a layer of fun to the experience. You can also bring your bikes—great for exploring early in the morning or riding over to grab a snack.

Your rental needs are all handled at the one stop shop check in desk, shown below.

The Perfect Home Base for Southern Utah Adventures

If you’re able to pull yourself away from the resort (it’s hard, trust me!), you’re just a short drive from Zion National Park, one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the country. Hike the scenic trails, take a shuttle through Zion Canyon, or just soak in the views from your car.
