A Fantastic Stay at CasaBlanca Resort, Mesquite, Nevada

Looking for the perfect place to unwind in the Mojave Desert? Let me tell you why you’ll want to stay at CasaBlanca Resort Casino Golf & Spa—a sparkling oasis in Mesquite, Nevada, that combines relaxation, entertainment, great food, and serious fun. Whether you’re craving a pampering spa day, a thrilling night at the casino, or a poolside cocktail under the palms, CasaBlanca delivers in a big way.

FYI: About an hour northeast of Las Vegas, Mesquite sits on the Arizona border with three exits on Interstate 15.

Stylish Stays with Desert Views

CasaBlanca Resort offers spacious guest rooms and suites with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and desert landscape. You’ll enjoy modern comforts like flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and in-room coffee makers—everything you need for a cozy desert retreat.

CasaBlanca is still undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade process, so expect rooms to be fully upgraded soon with new furnishings and amenities. They even offer bungalows to share an even more special space with your friends or family.

Bungalows (along the way to the spa) include a kitchenette, sitting area, easy access to the shimmering pool and state-of-the-art gym, plus convenient valet or designated parking.

A Casino That’s Fun and Friendly

Love slots and table games? You’re in luck. CasaBlanca’s state-of-the-art casino features over 800 slot machines (with looser odds than Vegas, in my experience!), plus craps, blackjack, roulette, and video poker. It’s big enough to be exciting but relaxed enough for beginners.

Bonus: Sign up for a Mesquite Journey Rewards card (see more below) to score discounts on dining, golf, the spa, and hotel stays.

If you’re not a seasoned gambler, don’t worry – this casino is relaxed and casual, perfect for beginners. A lovely gift shop is beside the check-in desk, stocked with gifts, sundries, clothing, and toys.

If you’d like more casino suggestions, the Beau Rivage on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast is one of our faves. Read more about it here.

Soak, Swim & Relax in Style

The Lagoon Pool is pure desert luxury—think palm trees, a water fountain, and plenty of loungers. For an upgrade, rent a private cabana complete with TV, fridge, safe, and shaded seating. There’s also a year-round hot tub tucked off to the side for extra relaxation.

Don’t miss the Dole pineapple whips from the Splash Bar—no Disney theme park lines required. And check online for the latest Casapoolooza summer concert series and Casa After Dark dates and entertainment.

Delicious Dining for Every Taste

Katherine’s Steakhouse

If you’re only having one fancy dinner in Mesquite, this is the place. Voted one of the best steakhouses in the region, Katherine’s serves USDA Dry Aged Prime steaks, fresh seafood, and desserts made table-side (like Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee).

I’m obsessed with the Shrimp Rockefeller and the Grand Marnier soufflé. Sit at the bar for an easier chance at a seat without a reservation.

Reservations for the main dining room are suggested via Open Table.

Cups and Scoops

Open 24/7, this spot satisfies sweet cravings with milkshakes, ice cream cones, and grab-and-go treats. They make the best dirty iced matcha in town, and the chocolate shakes are perfectly enjoyed from the comfort of the outdoor hot tubs — just ask my granddaughter.

You can also order pizza from this location.

Sky Bar

Chic and laid-back, Sky Bar specializes in martinis and streams live sports 24/7. Grab a drink before dinner or while watching the game in this beautiful spot.

Coming soon: A new diner-style restaurant (Jersey Joe’s Diner) and a Mexican eatery (Ritas & Fajitas)—expected to open later this summer!
